What I'm Reading

Here's a list of other comics I've read (or am currently reading). I find them inspiring, fun, interesting, entertaining, thought-provoking, noteworthy, beautiful, or some combination of these things! Check them out!

{KILL SIX BILLION DEMONS} KSBD needs no introduction. I cite it as one of my main inspirations for getting into making my own comics. The art is expressive and detailed, the story is complex and interesting, and the worldbuilding is top-notch.

{TAMURAN} A creative fantasy project that is both classic and refreshing. The shining star in this comic is how well the characters are done. They are fun, interesting, engaging, and full of personality. The story is vibrant and well-crafted.

{TEN EARTH SHATTERING BLOWS} Another amazing fantasy/action/adventure comic, Ten Earth Shattering Blows has become one of my most anticipated weekly page drops. The cheeky humor is fun, the art is beautiful, the world is intracately built with more mysteries yet to be revealed. As a read, the pacing is perfect, never feeling like too much is happening OR the story is dragging its feet. I can't say enough good things about 10ESB!

{PHANTOMARINE} Phantomarine's story is interesting and complex without being hard to follow, and we have the joy of learning more about this unique seafaring world along the way. The comic also takes time to be funny, witty, and light, along with it's discussion of heavier topics, handling it all gracefully (I'm tempted to make a comparison to Avatar: The Last Airbender). The art is also vibrant and beautiful.

{NINE GATES} I recognize a fellow KSBD-inspired artist when I see one! This is a "newer" webcomic (having started in 2022), but it's full of life and promise. The art is expressive, the world is unique, and the story grabs you. I'm loving it so far!

{STEAMGEAR, INC.} A super fun steampunk comic that is full of humor and endlessly creative. The action sequences are super cool. I highly recommend giving it a read.

Castoff Comic Banner

CASTOFF is a long-form fantasy story with fun action scenes and clean, colorful art. Even so, it doesn't get lost in itself, still making time for character interactions and storytelling.

Bicycle Boy Banner

A post-apocalyptic world with a beautiful art style, enthralling action sequences, and a moving storyline about relationships and self-discovery.
